Stocksfield Parish Council is excited to announce our first spring digital photo competition is now live!! The competition is open to all residents of the parish of any age and entry is FREE.
This year’s there is “Love where you live” and we are encouraging you to submit your photographs that show what you love most about the parish. It could be a stunning view that you love, a quiet wildlife spot, a beautiful building or something closer to home – perhaps your own garden. This competition invites you to step out of your day to day lives and take a closer look at our beautiful and scenic parish and everything that’s wonderful about it!
There are two classes, Kids (16 and under) and Adults (over 16)
Photograph submissions can be from any time in the last five years and you may submit up to three images. The closing date of the competition is 11:59pm on Monday 5 May 2025. Entries must be submitted to the Clerk. Lucy Guthrie, at clerk@stocksfield-pc.gov.uk
The photographer who submits the winning entry will have their entry featured on the front page of the NE43 News 2025 summer edition, to be issued at the start of June, and will received three extra copies to share with family and friends. We will also feature a collage of runners-up inside the magazine. Please read the full Terms and conditions for rules of entry
The winner will be judged on your interpretation of the theme “Love where you live”, the composition and resolution of the image and its representation of the parish.
